We are just one day away from England’s date with destiny, as they prepare to take on Spain at the Olympiastadion in Berlin in the final of Euro 2024.
The Spanish are perceived to be favourites after winning all six of their tournament matches so far. But fans of the Three Lions now firmly believe, with their country on the brink of a first international tournament win since 1966.
After the excitement of the win over the Netherlands, attention has now turned to who Gareth Southgate will select for what could yet be his final match in charge of England tomorrow.
The Football Association are said to want him to stay through until the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico, but the manager himself is yet to confirm his future.
Meanwhile, thousands of fans have booked last-minute flights to get out to Germany, with Berlin set to be packed on the weekend with a host of fans due to be there without match tickets to support the Three Lions.

Seaman calls for Shaw to startFormer England keeper David Seaman thinks Luke Shaw needs to start on Sunday so that Bukayo Saka is free to push forward.
Speaking to Betway, he said: “He’s gone to the left side (Saka), and they’ve even spoken about him playing at left-back, which I’m not a massive fan of, and hopefully that’s going to be taken care of now with Luke Shaw coming back.
“His goal against Switzerland showed why he plays on the right. He can cut in and shoot with his left, and he can also go down the right and cross it. Bukayo has played all over the place, and the fact that his position has been changed means he deserves even more credit.”

Morata ‘the leader’ for SpainFormer Spanish star Gaizka Mendieta has praised the leadership of Alvaro Morata ahead of Sunday’s final.
“Morata and Rodri are the key players,” he told OLBG.
“I’m very excited about Nico Williams and Lamine Yamal. I think those two are young players, but still very experienced with pace, character, leadership.
“I think they can really help if Morata plays in that sort of system. Morata is the leader, he’s the captain. The experience of Unai Simon will also help in goal, I think we have a good balance.”

England handed double injury boostKieran Trippier and Harry Kane will both be fit for Sunday’s Euros final.
Trippier has nursed a calf issue through the tournament and then came off against Holland with a groin injury. The Newcastle man has started every game amid the fitness concerns of Luke Shaw.
Kane has also insisted he has no injury issue despite taking a knock to his foot in winning his penalty against Holland.
England boss Gareth Southgate has said: “There have been no scans. As far as we know they’re OK, but we haven’t done a lot out on the pitch, so we’ll find more out on Saturday. We’re not expecting anybody to rule themselves out for the final.”
