It’s officially sandals season and that means it’s time to give your feet a little quick fix and make them presentable to match with your summer outfits.
The Footmender All in One Cream is a miracle to those who want to give their feet a bit of TLC instead of splurging on a pedicure treatment and the cream does more than just hydrate your dry feet. It can replace hard-to-use foot files, time-consuming foot baths and exfoliating socks and even better news?
Boots dropped the price from £28.99 to £10 for one-day only. The yellow pump bottle targets and heals four common footcare problems – dry skin, calluses, corns and cracked heels. These are all common issues that affect men and women of all ages.
When the skin’s natural cell renewal process is disrupted in some way, it can no longer shed dead skin cells and they form a hard layer. When this happens, the skin becomes dry and calluses may form, which in turn may lead to painful cracks or corns.
Other foot problems can be caused by friction and pressure, such as playing sports games or standing for long periods.
With a 4.5 out of five-star review on Boots, shoppers said it worked a miracle on their dry feet overnight, with one saying: “This is a truly excellent product. I noticed the difference within a few days, just a little required. Best to use it at night when going to bed. I would never have tried it at £29 but the £10 deal was brilliant.”
A second raved about the all-in-one cream: “This cream does exactly what it claims to do! It has become me and my daughter’s new best friend now we feel comfortable and are not ashamed to put our summer shoes on, absolutely worth the money and we will definitely be ordering it again.”
But a customer was less impressed and said: “I still needed to use a foot file, have reverted to my usual brand.” Another five-star shopper liked the non-greasy formula and said her feet felt “noticeably better after a few applications”, adding: “You only need one pump per foot as a little goes a long way.”
For muscle pain relief, Puressentiel Muscles & Joints Cryo Pure Roller works to hydrate and deliver an instant cooling sensation to relax muscles but it can be quite greasy. It’s currently on sale at Amazon for £12.34.
CeraVe’s renewing foot cream is a popular one packed with glycerin, niacinamide and salicylic acid to hydrate and work to help heal the skin barrier, as well as slough away dead skin cells. It’s on offer at Beauty Bay for £7.55 instead of £9.50.
