Ipswich pushing for BrojaIpswich Town have ramped up their efforts to sign Armando Broja from Chelsea, sources have confirmed to Express Sport.

De Jong to Man Utd back onManchester United will make a renewed attempt to prise Frenkie de Jong away from Barcelona this summer, according to Sport.

The Red Devils failed miserably to sign De Jong in 2022 but the Catalan club’s need to sell could play straight into Erik ten Hag’s hands over the next two weeks.

The current state of play leaves Barca in need of a big sale in order to register their summer signings, and De Jong is one of their most valuable assets.

United are preparing a huge push and will ‘spare no effort’ to sign him if the opportunity arises.

A bid of just over £51million would reportedly be considered by Barcelona after they spent big on signing Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig.

However, it is thought that De Jong’s preference is to stay in Spain.

Kalvin Phillips set for Ipswich medicalIpswich Town are ‘on the brink’ of signing Kalvin Phillips on a season-long loan, according to The Telegraph.

Manchester City forked out £45million to sign Phillips from Leeds United in 2022 but the move has been a disaster, with the midfielder making just 16 Premier League appearances in two seasons.

The 28-year-old is thought to be on his way to Suffolk for a medical.

Phillips’ arrival would be a major coup for manager Kieran McKenna, who has already brought Omari Hutchinson, Jacob Greaves, Liam Delap, Conor Townsend, Aro Muric and Ben Johnson to Portman Road on permanent deals this summer.

Two Liverpool deals closeLiverpool are close to completing one exit and one arrival after a quiet start to the summer transfer window.

Teenage academy graduate Bobby Clark is set to join Jurgen Klopp’s former assistant, Pep Lijnders, at RB Salzburg after the two clubs agreed a deal worth around £8.5million.

Liverpool have also inserted a 17.5-per-cent sell-on clause, and they would have first refusal if Clark is to leave the Austrian side in future.

The Reds’ pursuit of Giorgi Mamardashvili also appears to be coming to a head.

The Valencia goalkeeper is believed to want the move after a £30m bid was submitted this week, even though it would likely see him join Bournemouth on loan before taking over from Alisson Becker as the No 1.

Chelsea slash asking priceChelsea are willing to sell Romelu Lukaku to Napoli for a lower fee if it helps their pursuit of striker Victor Osimhen, according to Di Marzio.

The two clubs are engaged in talks over two separate deals that would see Lukaku head to Italy and Osimhen travel in the opposite direction.

Chelsea had been adamant in demanding almost £37million for Lukaku, who shone on loan at AS Roma last term.
